The focus of this course is to teach students the skills of drafting different legal documents that are filed and presented in court by lawyers. You will learn how to essentially master accurate legal writing by learning how to communicate legal concepts and information in writing confidently and easily, use legal vocabulary more accurately, concisely and effectively when speaking and writing, write precise legal texts, use written legal English in real-life work situations confident in their ability and knowledge, use correct English grammar and appropriate tone for written communication, use written Legal vocabulary appropriate for the situation and context, court, arbitration, mediation and legal documentation writing practice. Finally, the Legal Writing course covers essential legal jargon which is most often used in legal correspondence and documents such as contracts and legal agreements.
