Corporate law is a legal field that governs the formation of companies and their structuring, while business or commercial law deals with the sale and distribution of goods. Corporate law looks at the lifecycle of a company from establishing to the dissolving of a company. However, commercial law includes a broader range of practice area such as franchising intellectual property and sometimes litigation.
