CRIMINAL (LITIGATION) COURSE TRNC (110-173)

At North Cyprus Law Clinic, we pride ourselves in providing information to the public on various topics criminal procedure being the most prominent one. We will familiarise you with the legal procedures that take place in the TRNC in regards to Criminal Law including; the general rules linked to criminal responsibility, the types of punishments, offences against public order, offences against administrative authority, offences that disrupt the public interests, offences against the person, offences relating to property and forgery, and lastly attempts to commit crimes. It is our duty to educate the public on the procedures for Criminal law in North Cyprus in order to provide awareness of what falls under criminal offence in TRNC, the arrest and investigation procedure and the applicable penalties. With this information, one may be able to understand the consequences of criminal activities and what to do if you and expect if you find yourself in police custody. In this course we will focus on defining crime or criminal offences under TRNC law and the penalties and procedures.
